Arab Monetary Fund is a Regional Arab Organisation, Founded in 1976, and has started operations in 1977. Member Countries (22) are: Jordan, United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Tunisia, Algeria, Djibouti, Saudi Arabia, Sudan, Syria, Somalia, Iraq, Oman, Palestine, Qatar, Kuwait, Lebanon, Libya, Egypt, Morocco, Mauritania, Yemen, Comoros.
This Agreement was drawn up in the city of Rabat in the Kingdom of Morocco on Tuesday the 27th of Rabi' Al-Akhar 1396A.H., corresponding to the 27th April 1976A.D.
Top management of the AMF consists of the Board of Governors (General Assembly), and the board of executive directors chaired by the Director General Chairman of the board.
